Why choose a carbon filter?

Carbon filters are essential for keeping your kitchen fresh and odour-free with recirculation. They neutralise unwanted odours using activated carbon particles. Over time a carbon filter becomes saturated and then needs to be replaced.

Alternatives: plasma filter and other options

Besides traditional carbon filters, you can also opt for a more efficient basic round plasma filter, which offers long-lasting odour removal and does not need frequent replacement under normal conditions.

For a more advanced option, consider the round plasma filter plus or the flat plasma filter plus. It cleans itself and does not become saturated with normal use, so it is maintenance-free and lasts approx. 12 to 15 years.

There is of course also the round long-life carbon filter and the flat long-life carbon filter, which last longer than ordinary carbon filters (approx. 3 years).
